Another Holiday Treat -- Print out the |

Just for fun (and for a bit of education), here are several "Name This Picture" quizzes, which also serve as an informal museum of financial art. Although the answer is accessible next to each picture via a pop-up window, if you print out the quiz the answer won't show up. Therefore, here is a printable List of Answers. Since these quizzes are interesting but not easy, here is a printable Hint List consisting of brief titles of the pictures in each quiz. See if you can match each with the appropriate picture. To review U.S. financial history and architecture before taking the quizzes, vist the Wall Street section of Architcture in New York: A Field Study at NYU found on our Museum Links Page.
These images come from Art Today, which retains the right to them. Here is more information about the pictures and how you can obtain higher-definition versions of them for yourself.
If you are looking for really high-quality wallstreet and corporate art to hang on your boardroom wall, visit Bull and Bear Gifts. Their Art Department will have just what you want. And if you want to spend a little more on signed and numbered artworks, go to InvestmentPrints.com.

This display is even more graphics-intensive than the others. When we started designing it, late last century, we assumed everyone would have broadband Internet access by now. If it loads too slowly, please just enjoy the picture of the US Treasury at the left, and revisit the rest when you're able to get faster access. |
